Certified Level II Dental Assistant

I graduated in 2019 from the Dental Assisting program at Georgian college. I have spent time working with the underserviced First Nations communities in Northern Ontario. I enjoy seeing people become more confident in their smiles and working with people who have the same values as me. I take pride in making people feel comfortable during all types of dental procedures. I was born and raised in Guelph. I played competitive hockey growing up and enjoy snowmobiling, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been a practising hygienist since I graduated from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in 2009. Throughout the years, I have recognized that the most rewarding part of my career is having the opportunity to meet and work with so many incredible people. While dentistry can be an anxiety provoking experience for some (including myself), my strengths include my ability to be empathetic, gentle and communicate calmly to help set your mind at ease. Prior to Dental Hygiene, I completed both the Social Service Worker and Early Childhood Education programs. I believe all learning helps to grow a person and that these experiences have overflowed into my everyday life in a positive way, when interacting with people of all ages. I have a daughter, who is my absolute pride and joy. We have spent many days on the basketball court and I couldn't be more proud to see her achieving all of her academic and athletic goals. I enjoy the outdoors, sports and spending time with friends and family.

Hygiene Coordinator

My career in the dental field started when I graduated from Fanshawe College as a Certified Level II Dental Assistant in 2017. Having a background in chariside dental assisting allows me to understand what patients are going through and be empathetic to their needs. Dentistry has always been my passion. I enjoy being able to build patient relationships and helping to educate about oral health, which has led to my transition to Hygiene Coordinator. Born and raised in Guelph, this is where I continue to pursue my career. I am lucky to be a part of such a cohesive team here at Dr. Mistry’s office. I enjoy riding my motorcycle and spending time with my family and friends.

I have been in the dental industry for the past 15 years in various roles. My favourite part of dentistry is seeing the positive life-changing results that dentistry can provide for patients. I love working with our team as we are professional, talented and always looking to grow of skill set. After growing up in London, Ontario, Guelph is now my home. I am happily married to my husband Sunny and enjoy spending time with family.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been in the dental field since the year 2000. I graduated with Honours from the Canadian College of Dental Health as a dental hygienist in 2007. Prior to dental hygiene, I graduated from Niagara College as a Level II Certified Dental Assistant and worked in that role for 7 years. Having a background in both chairside assisiting and dental hygiene allows me to understand a wide scope of dental procedures. I enjoy keeping my patients at ease with my caring nature, clinical expertise and attention to dental. I am passionate about teaching and motivating patients to achieve an improved level of oral health and how this can affect their overall health. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and three energetic boys.

I immigrated to Canada in 2020 from Nigeria, where I was a practising dentist for 5 years. I am the first of three children born and raised by my parents in Nigeria. My desire for knowledge and love for experiencing different cultures brought me to Canada. I have a passion for interacting with people and oral health. I am highly dedicated to serving my community and enjoy the friendships I have formed along my journey. When I am not working I am fond of travelling, hiking, and spending time with my wife and loved ones.
